Waggin' Tails Retreat is a family owned and operated doggy daycare and boarding facility. We are a unique place for dogs conveniently located 10 miles south of Burnsville off I-35 set on 10 acres. We offer two fully fenced outside play areas for your dog, along with a lovely wood-chipped walking path through the woods for a mid-day walk. Our entire facility is climate controlled, including in floor heat for those chilly days.
We offer both overnight care and daycare for some fun play during the day. All boarders have private rooms, each room has a raised pet bed or blankets. We separate our daycare into two play groups, one play arena is for our large to medium size dogs. This is an indoor play arena with raised pet beds, toddler mattresses, a T.V. and a doggy door to a fully fenced in outdoor play area. Our additional play arena is set up for our smaller and older friends, filled with couches, toddler beds, and a T.V, to make them feel right at home. Although they do not have an attached outdoor area they are let outside to a fully fenced in pea rock area five to six times a day (weather permitting).
This is the best boarding in the south metro. It is clean and well maintained and the pets are well socialized and exercised. Pets that can be off leash have natural environment to play in. Kenny & Kara treat our pets like family, and our family like old friends.

My dog and I LOVE Waggin' Tails Retreat! Zoey visits there at least four times a week while I'm at work or gone for a long weekend. Kenny and Kara and their kids treat all the dogs as if they were their own. And they are very accomodating to your specific needs. There's always a lot of activities going on and plenty of space for the dogs to run and play. Zoey even learned to swim in the pond in their backyard! She sleeps for HOURS once I get her home at night because she had so much fun. Thanks, Waggin' Tails, for taking care of Zoey! I don't know what I would do without you guys!
